stage 3 concussion? Thats really bad, I bet he was out for more than 30 minutes. Why were helmets invented again? How stupid can you get...

hey, man. all it takes is someone a little young with balls to get excited by a picture or two, buy a bike and try to learn... fast.

i hope he's OK. no one deserves to get hurt on a bike. fuck.

realy funny until it happens to you or a friend...one of my friend hit a jump the other day and his forks gave out and snapped for no reason and he was in vancouver hospital for 4 days now in kamloops hospital with sevear head injuries... definatly not funny.

if he was wearing a helmet, then i feel for your friend and wish him a speedy recovery.

anyone that doesn't wear a helmet while riding jumps or trails is just plain stupid - that's why it's called an ACCIDENT.

That's what I was thinking too... I didn't want to say it in case the kid was actually right and I looked like an idiot :(

I've had 1 stage 3 concussion, and I was just destroyed. I'm sure you know about my crash though :lol:

I disagree.....it didn't matter if I was 6, 12, 18, 24...or 30....I didn't try to duplicate something I just saw a Pro do just because I saw
it done. Natural selection will prevale.

Either way...in this case, who knows what the circumstances are.....they may be judgeable, they may not.

it could have been funnier if a truck ran over him as he was lying unconcious on the ground because he was dumb enough to drop 7 ft. to flat for some friends :eek:

:lol: I sure remember your crash, you wernt moving! :eek: nocked out. I had one stage two concussion, 2 stage ones and 1 minor one. Stage two I remember NOTHING of the night except some tiny weird things like getting crackers and asking my mom for orange juice, other than that its all blank. 2 of the other ones I could remember everything, the minor one I just had a head ach, the other 1st degree one I coulnd't really remember to much.

For the second degree one I had to take a month off the bike??? Seems like a bit much when I felt 100% in 2 days.

:eek::eek:

you ve gotta be kidding me.

you just crossed the line btw "funny" and stupid

concussions bad enough, why do you want the lil kid to die?

doing drops like that on a sc, possibly fatigued is bad enough, but if he learns from it :S ( i m not sure due to concussion) he'll get smarter or get eleminated as m33p said.
