Here is mine built up ... puting on RF NS cranks this weekend,
it has 7 inch rotors frnt and back now with a 2.5 High Roller in back and a 2.6 Gazz in front...

bumped up to a 650# spring as well...

The Chap is a true trail bike, where as the Scream is a full on Freeride beast.

5th won't fit on the CHap because of the reservoir, I got the Romic and love it...

They are about the same in price depending on the shock.

The Chap is about 4.5 pounds lighter than the Scream and the geometry is less slack.

An 04 Slider and Romic combo would make for a sweet 7/6" Chap :)

Yea I sat on a Chap with a Romic, felt so sick, but a 5th would be nice on it, but 5th is just as kool I guess (less setting up, but you can get Romic to set it up for you).

Why don't you run your rear brake cable along the downtube and then the stays?

There are " runners " for the cable on the top tube ... ya zap strap to those... I would feel pretty hesitant to route anything down my downtube and near my cranks.... that seems a little .. dangerous.

In the PB pic it looks like the rear brake cable sticks out quite a bit. Bikes like the Big Hit have cable bosses under the downtube; that's why I suggested running the cable that way.

all good...

The cable is too long actually, I should probably shorten it a little... you're right. Thanks!
