the pole was fixed up, there's a small tranny now at the end, and an a-frame at the bottom of it also.
lower mels has been fixed up a bit also - the broken ladder drop has been replaced with a small ramp.

Rode Bby Mnt on Tues... nice work, but my buddy ate dirt trying to hit the new tranny. He wasn't aware that it was new and the soil was still loose :)

Everything is basically off of Mels, do a search for a SFU trail map.
The new tranny is at the bottom of Nicole's Pole as you drop off to the right.

He's not wrong, generally not giving directions to new, secret, over used, and/or trails that may be over used is the norm.
There are maps available for SFU on the net that are easy to access and trails that are easy to find. There is nothing secret about SFU and I wouldn't call it 'over riden' ;)
Have fun on Upper Snake Hill  :)

The switchbacks did get some work, but it wasn't "burmed" and it wasn't screwed up. It was actually some nice work done by Euro-dude.
