Wow, People use leeside for Tai Chi that seems like a really odd place with all the ramps and people comming through and the noise

yeah matt wrote it up after the few discussions we had about it both in person and on through email between me(mtb), chris from chase magazine, and matt reping the skaters. matt got a crew together from the area that went door to door talking to neighbors asking them what they wanted to see and what they knew about the park. i think the report is done really well and hopefully now it will help to save leeside though we may see some changes(for the good) in terms of access from the south side, ie ecomm side, in the form of stairs or a long cement ramp because of the danger that hill poses to people when it is wet. i know cho can detest to that hahaha. after he bailed on it.
keep ripping it up and have fund own there. just make sure if you see garbage to pick it up and dont leave any of your own.
thats all for now

I noticed the garbage cans last time I was there. Seems people were just chucking garbage near them and not into them

Are they planing on making it a cement park if it is aproved? Or is it gonna stay junky and wood to keep skaters out?
I hope it will stay there for a long time:) :thepimp:

neither....cement cant be done due to the reasoning for the area...its a evacuation route so shit needs to be able to get moved outta the way fairly easily.
floor will be redone to allow the sakters in...but other than that i dont know right now

no but i was thinking of those large piles of road gravel:eek:
that sucked i know.....
for anyone heading down in the next few days maybe bring a broom and do us all a favour and do a little sweep. some asshole kids broke bottles down there and i went riding sunday and it was ok but later on when i went back i got a piece of glass off my tire which caught me right under the nose and cut me pretty good. had to go get it removed. if i go down this week im gonna go sweep up but for anyone heading before like friday or so bring a broom. and if you see guys breaking bottles and stuff remind them that we value our tires, and show them where the garbage cans are.

I hope it stays so that we all can use it. My son loves to ride down there. We go atleast 3 times a week during the shitty weather season.
