No, im almost sure it wont. I know the 250cc doesn't fit anything over a 2.4.

Best of luck, man... You can't fit a very big 26" tire at all in that frame. It was designed around a 24" (even though it has 26" v-brake posts, try and figure that out.) All I know is that I didn't want to put a 2.1" tire in there for fear of rubbing in case my rim went outta true.
Oddly enough, the Norco website says you can run a 2.5. http://www.norco.com/bikes/2002bikes/faq.htm
Maybe give 'er a shot, but have another tire there in case it doesn't fit.
absolutely positive it will fit a 26 x 2.5 maxxis highroller
that is what i used on my 250cc

Weird... I tried a 2.4 Rokko on a Sun mammoth before I got my 24" DX-32 wheel, and it wouldn't fit. I almost have the feeling that the BB area was kinda screwed up on my frame. At least the chainstay bridge, 'cause that's what it was rubbing on. It was hilarious, the bike shop gave me a 1.95 IRC mud mad so that I could ride. Man did that tire suck the nutsack.
