View Full Version : Bourdon Is The Best.
Seriously, wears no upper body pads, is hugely buff, and lands all the big shit on a 6" travel bike, while wearing no pads. Look at thw NWD4 teaser, he rocks the house. Look at his sections in previous movies, rarely gets hurt, and when he goes down he goes down smooth. Like that gapp off the roof in NWD2 I think, 20 feet easily, falls so lightly and gets up fine. Never seen him injured for as long as anybody else, and goes just as big.

Bourdon is king. Not only that, but he doens't train, he drinks beer all day, i never see him riding. He's always just goofing off. Yet he still goes huge and gets up from it. Parties so much, and macks the ladies. What a :thepimp:

yeah Robbie is one seriously underated rider thats for sure...

Ever seen him ride in person? He falls like a brick and it looks like the bike is riding him. He doesn't float things or land smoothly at all - even Princess Schlea adds more style and is more fun to watch.
At Rampage he fell hard every single run. Not little sketches but nasty, thorny tumbles. Part of this was because he was trying large nasty stuff but saying he doesn't bail hard just isn't true.
On top of that he has a hard time stringing a sentence together without adding a couple of grunts. This doesn't change his abilities as a rider but it makes him a less interesting character in my books.
Tie Domi is tough as nails too but if he retired tomorrow I wouldn't shed a tear. We all respect athletes for different reasons but I appreciate those who can express themselves and relate to other humans - not Bourdon's strengths.
Is he ballsy? Hell yes - and he stomps very large things on a small bike but I wouldn't be disappointed at all if he never showed up in another film.

I've heard his riding style referred to as "like a shopping cart"...
Is he back in the saddle? How is his health?
Either way, no matter what his style, he is a rider with balls the size of small dogs! That HUGE gap to ledge at Red Bull is the nuttiest thing I may have ever seen on a bike.
Go Robbie.

That's the best.
He is a hell of a rider for sure and while his style is somewhat lacking compared to others, he's damn good and for his size? shiiit.

He is an ass, he won't talk to you unless you are "PRO" or hang out with Pro's. The one time he ever talked to me, he was drunk as heck, in Subway. He talked to us for a bit, and calledd us his fans. Then knocked over my bike, and talked to some police officers. It was a grad ole time. I still like the little bastard.

Robbie has smartened up quite a bit since his accident, but he'll always be a maniac, apparently it's hilarious when him and his bro get together.
I used to diss his style but after hanging with him at a couple contests I was impressed with how hard he tries. He doesn't always know if he can pull it, but usually busts it anyway..........and big, sometimes in the dark(freezride).
his uncanny resemblance to a garden gnome makes it all the more fun to watch........and by the way I would like credit for coining the term "Princess Schlea". Oh yeah that one is all mine, and it started right to his face. It was before the Rampage, but by the end I called him " Darth Scleyder" cuz he thru down................
