anyone have any good tips on building a front wheel???

tomorrow i'm going to go buy spokes. i have the 2nd hole to 4th hole method thing down for 32 holes,

i just wondering if there is any special type of builds i could do that look steller but is pretty easy to do, im thinking to jsut stick with the time tested criss cross method,

if makes a diffence will be a alex esd25 rim on a formula qr20 hub,

3 cross works plenty good for 32 hole. you could go 4 cross on a 36 hole hub

isn't it , you drop every second spoke into the hub, then put in the starting spoke into the hole beside the valve stem hole, then count to four spoke holes away then oput in the next spoke?

Go here (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/wheelbuild.html#spoke_patterns) and read a couple times. Will take all of 5 minutes. Excellent description.

XC riders that use V-Brakes do some weird lacing shit.

There are people that radial lace the front. Then for the rear, 3 cross drive side, but radial lace the non-drive side.

I often wonder what, exactly, happens when you radially lace a disc wheel. Wether the wheel will just snap all spokes and send you into the ground, or if it'll just collapse on any kind of hard aggressive riding? I would imagine spoke flex would be insane, but would it sheer all the spokes is the question...
