So, heres my dilemma...
I get the hardtail all built up and the cranks are REALLY and I mean REALLY stiff!
So, I got it all spaced out and sexy and go to take er for a rip and man o man, they aren't spinning freely at all! So my question is does anyone know if i'm missing a washer on the inside of the cups? Where the Cups meet the BB spacer/cylinder thing (can't remember the actual name.
Anywho, any help would be awesome!

Sound to me like there is pressure on the bearings. It could be the wrong spacer between the cups causing them to get jammed up. I think there should be a spacer for 68mm and 73mm BB shells, and you might have the longer one. Just a guess though.

i had the same problem the other day, i was just lubing everything up inside and then after i put them together they were supr tight, the next morning i realized i had but the spacers in wrong, for me i had a little thin washer, then like a round silver thing that had a bigger step on it (race maybe) and that thing on the out side with all the little round things on it, i put those in the left sid e in that order and they spun fine, i good see losing the little washer.
sorry it is really hard to explain.

u need some more spacers in between the two cups, where the sleeve is (large spacer)

You need some more spacers in between the 2 cups, it sounds like.
I dunno though, you normally know what you're talking about and how to se tup a bike, so it might be something really minor...
