NO my freind just got them and the mechanic said you didn't need them for those cranks b/c there steel but for other cranks use them.

These are the V not the X. Vs be aluminum.

just ask the bike shop for one, they'll probably give it to you for free or a few cents.

I emailed FSA and they said I don't need to use washers.
