jump seat on a dh?

i need a new seat and i was thinking something along the lines of a dj seat. no big bananna dh seat. any of you try it? also whats a good seat? i want something relativly cheap.

also if anyone has one for sale let me know.

velo and othert companies make $25 dirt jump seats. Overtime has em, other shops are more expensive. There cheap and comfortable.

i love the axiom shovel dj seat that came on my 4by, i could never go back to a huge dh seat like i had on my old bike, whenever i see someone with one, i just think "why?"

i think the snafu one is pretty similar to what i have

well i ended up just taking the seat off my bmx. its made my rpm and it seems to work for now, but i still need a new seat..

i bought a "velo" seat for 16 dollars. it is an exact replica of a 1664 barstool seat that is suggested at 45 dollars. mine is yellow and black.. the 1664 is all black. i painted mine though.

I'm still looking for the ideal freeride saddle. One that is soft and comfy for climbing, so my boys aren't dying after an hour, small enough to be out of the way once you lower it, and strong enough seat rails so they don't pretzel if you take a bump while seated.

Does this saddle exist????

I finally found one that is comfy, but the rails bend every ride. The only one I've found with strong enough rails was like sitting on concrete.

so i went riding today with the bmx seat on the dh rig. umm ... it was interesting. i really noticed that i didnt have the seat to hold onto with my legs for stability and such so skinnies were a bit more tricky.

by the sounds of it this velo seat is the way to go? anybody got a link to a site or pics?

i have a velo DJ seat,it was like 16 bucks,black and yellow.works good.i like it way better than the launch pad i had.ran it on my vps1 for a while and loved every minute of it.

axiom shovle is sweet, it cost 20$ and is the same, EXACT thing as the snafu seat
