I gotta make a choice on a bike. I've been working all summer at mcdonalds and im looking for something like a brodie bruzza or a norco sasquatch(that i cant find anywhere). What im probably gonna do in the future though is just ride this as a temp so i have something to ride in the summer then buy a .243 and swap the parts.

But tell me if your LBS has something for $1000-1400.

If it's just temporary, why not build it yourself, and buy stuff second hand.

I have some brand new frames from the company i work for, They're better than the norco sasquatch frame imo.
pm if you are interested for more info.
ps. i have some parts too

the thing is, i want to have a complete bike with ok componets because i figure itll be cheaper, plus this will be my first bike ever since my 96 hammer got stolen a year ago (what a beauty of a bike), so I want it to work and look all new.

THat sasquatch is a really good deal looks good. A good full bike is a specialized P2 or a P3.

i will probably buy a steel frame but later, like i said, but i don't knwo what a good frame to buy. Any suggestions?

I know .243 kick ass, and the minuteman but its a bit to pricey for me.

yeah, steel frames have become a boutique industry lately....243's are realy nicely made, and strong as hell...same with the MM, but !OUCH! the preice...I guess that's what you pay to have a quality frame, not a production line cookie cutter aluminum frame...
