Who's been maintaining the feeble effort @ blocking traffic to the trail right across the BP from where you get spit out of Ladies? All those branches make me laugh & I assume it's the peeps that own houses in the cul-de-sac lower down. If this trail was really closed I'm sure there'd be a sign or sumpin'.
well tonight was an eye-opener. About 10 seconds from the pavement I'm bombing down the trail & all of a sudden there's a searing pain across my neck. First thought- "barbwire? nope cuz my head's still attached" so wtf? my neck's bleeding pretty bad. So I stop and see what the dilio is: a huge blackberry bush branch strung across the trail @ about 5' high. There's an outside chance it could have just been there thanks to mother nature, but since I'v been hitting that little spit out trail for years and this is the first time I find that highly unlikely.
anyone know the deal w/ it.
Oh yah, whne I got home & looked in the mirror, my face actually got it worse but I didn't feel it @ the time. I don't mind being bloddy after a good bail from a stunt or sumpin' but this kinda blows. Maybe I'll just tell the peeps @ work I met a wild chick rather than a blackberry bush.
The ride was still fun....
