Has anyone tried replacing a lost or stolen parking pass? (for Seymour, Cyp., etc) When I went to buy one they didn't know if it is possible - they said BC Parks did a really half-ass job of planning the whole parking permit thing.
Has anyone had their car broken into just for the $50 parking pass which is supposed to be CLEARLY displayed? It seems like the new BC Parks policy directly contradicts their own big signs that say "Do not leave valuables in vehicles - thieves work here." I've certainly had less valuable things stolen (like floor mats and pocket change) And the security isn't exactly tight. (sorry Bob)
If your car was broken into and damaged just for a parking pass, would you be pissed at the thieves or at BC Parks? Any lawyer bikers out there care to offer any info on liability in a case like this?
