Me and my friend might be coming to vancouver for a day trip. We are wondering what places rent bikes that are near the shore and if anyone would want to show us around for a day.
thanks.
the only deciding factor that we have on coming is if we can get riding fast. we are on a tight time scheduale, probably get there around 10am ish and leave around 6 pm ish.

we are pretty set on riding the shore.
By the way which mountain should we hit? We are going to have to climb up on our bikes becuase we dont have a vehicle so we dont want to spend our whole day hiking up.

if you have a truck, cove bikes is about 15 minutes away from fromme. pedalling up is about 90 minutes or so depending how fast you are. going down is about 90-120 depending on how fast or slow you go.
or you could park at the bottom fo seymour and pedal up.:)

If u can get a ride to the fromme gate i will show u around. You can prbly get 2 runs in on fromme but you will be totally spent at the end of the day.

I was talking to a girl on CBC and she said it took her about 50 minutes to ride from the bottom of Seymour to CBC... you can then take another trail down to the parking lot or something...
Peace,

I dont think its gonna be worth spending 60 bucks on a bike and only being able to ride for a few hours. I'll be there next year.
