I've heard about this tour here and there, is it worth the cash? What kind of terrain, squampton-style granite etc...? It sounds like a downhill epic to be sure...

I rode disneyland about two years ago when it was cheaper I think we paid 125 each.....It was worth the trip just to do it but I wouldn't ride it again. The terrain was super steep, rocky and it took us about 5-hours to get down with a big group, I dont think you would want to take a beginer rider there it would be a shity walk out unless there are other easier roots down then the one we went on....but then again that was a couple years back.

I dont think I would want to ride that in any kind of wet weather....the guy's that took us up there said they even dont even ride that shit in the rain, and they also said not to get cocky on the ride down I guess it's claimed more then it's share of broken bones through the past.

just got off the phone with them (i was thinking of planning a trip). Goat ridge is privately owned and the owners are getting all pissy so the heli tours are on hold indefinitely.

You'll probably have to save the map to your computer and use a photo viewer to look at it. IE doesn't have a pic zoom as far as I know.
Huge Topo Map, don't click if you are on dial up) (http://toporama.cits.rncan.gc.ca/images/b250k/09/092g.gif)

interestingly enough I saw a group of riders de-gearing at the 99er (think that's what it's called) sunday about 6:30 in the evening on my way back from the city....I was talking to a guy from black tusk choppers in the summer and he was telling me about the situation, crappy cause that's a ride I really wanted to do this year.....wonder what the dudes I saw were up to....

You must have been seeing things.
I went by at the same time and didn't see anyone at all.
