I just bought a Yamaha YFZ450 last week and my Bullit is getting pissed. He knows it's just a matter of time till we are bombing drops again, but that YFZ is starting to make his blood boil. Every day since last week, all I can think about is riding my YFZ, but then I look at my bullit and the guilt sets in. Well I had a nice little talk with my Bullit last night and we worked it out. You see, I was on a ride on the YFZ and hauled up to this 3400 foot point (ascended from 600 feet) and found the absolute bomb of a downhill. It is on rock face with incredible traction, has drops, shoots, gullies and trees and is at least 45. It is going to take a little time to identify the rideable lines, but man, there is definitely the best downhill I've found yet in Oregon up there just waiting for me. I think I have my bullit feeling a little better, but he won't be totally satisfied until I get him up there. Any other freeride freaks out there get a YFZ yet? It is an absolutely phenomenal ride - perfect for the motor head in me!!! Enjoy!!! I'll post some pics as soon as I get back up there.

I grew up with dirtbikes!

right now my playbike is a Y2k CR250 (first of the AL frame)

my enduro bike is a 92 Kawa KLR250 (kinda slow, but still a nice bike)

I know what you mean with getting addicted with the dirtbikes, but I got a plan for you. Break something on your dirtbike and become too poor to fix it, then all you will ride is your mountainbike!
