THANK YOU
Huge props to everyone involved in the Blair Chair Project, all who participated in the Auction, suppliers, manufactures and indviduals who donated the fine swag, all peeps who donated thru the Bicycle Cafe, Sean D (wherever you are), Cheryl Beattie (The Bicycle Cafe) and Cam Mcrae (NSMB) for allowing us to use the web space and the advertising.
We signed the bank draft today and we are placing the order for the Four Cross Down Hill Four Wheeler tommorow.
Check it out http://www.outletindustries.com/ totally awesome.
I'm sure Blair is stoked to be able to ride again and could never have done it without all the great karma from everyone involved.
The MTB community rocks.
We are still witing for individuals to send in the balance of the funds from the Auction, any problems or concerns please get a hold of me.

So - I think it's great he'll be back in the saddle again, but I wonder just where he'll be able to ride?
I don't know the Kamloops area at all ( I think that's where he is), but when I think of lower mainland riding, nothing comes to mind that would work. Even whistler would be no good, except for some of the lower, central parts. Maybe B-Line.
I hate to pour pour water on the flames here, but is Blair realistically going to be able to use this new ride?
Please - I mean no offense.

that's awesome! Hopefully Blair gets the chair ASAP and he gets to go out and rip the trails! I'm proud to have donated money towards the chair, and last year right after he crashed i donated to help his family with the hospital bills.

Barry: Depending on what the item was, and where it was shipped from, Eastern Canada or US, or Western Canada it could take a while. Lots of peeps have started receiving their items late last week and this week. Pm or email me and I'll check on you order.

Have you been to Whistler and seen Stacy Kohut and the other chair downhillers? B-Line is just one trail available to wheelchairs... A-line and Dirt Merchant are both perfect for them. If Sunpeaks was on the ball, they would build a downhill wheelchair-suitable trail too (they may already have one, I'm not sure). It's pretty amazing the sort of trails these guys can ride on their chairs. I wouldn't be surprised if Blair steps things up a notch too when he gets ripping on it
no items in the mail for me either today....
i really kinda wanna get those parts on my ride..
i hope canada post didnt lose my stuff...

Well Rose Hill will be fine for him. It is really wide and has a few tight sections but there are so many ways around certain areas it should be good to go. He can also ride some of the trails at SunPeaks, Whistler, and Golden Mount 7. Stacy has been around long enough that he has left a wide path for Blair to follow.
As for items, PM me with which items you are waiting for and I can try to find them for you.
