nooo-someone put logs under my brand new drop I made in a deserted lot...huge 40 lb logs all where they would be invisible until you were in the air...not cool, the trail nazis are on the US east coast to :mad:

We have some trail nazi's down here too (Maryland).

Someone cut down 2 trees (full size mother fuckers too) in the middle of one of the steepest climbs here. Makes me think strictly urban ain't the worst of ideas.

no, i had to go fill up a hole i dug so people wouldn't get pissed, and I walked up to the lip with my shovel...and there were huge logs on the tranny :( so i moved them and filled in the hole, but I'll check the tranny whenever I'm thinking about hitting it from now on.

as lucky as it is that they were placed on a climb, thats still way too much. And to cut down two FULL SIZED trees? Those nazis sure aren't going after bikers for environmental protection reasons...shitty deal anyway

yea i made a post about it a while ago. it sucks :(

i know simon and i know how dedicated he is to building. shitty to see this happen on one of his trails. especially a trail thats local to me and that i liked.

I noticed it on the climb. Good thing I wasn't going down, they were around a blind turn. I got back to my truck, wrote a note and tacked it to the trailhead. Next time I went back the log had been cut.

They were sideways across the single track (in the middle of a slope, if you fall to the right, you fall down a hill for a very long time). Definately threw off my climb. It's a hill that if you are any higher than 5th, you won't make it. They did it a while back (when I was riding a light bike and could clear the hill in the middle ring).

All of the ledges around here are kinked and bolted. Good for me, bikes roll over them :)
