I hesitantly ordered a bar and stem and some redbull from bikeroom, I mailed them a cheque on tuesday, they called me on wednesday while I was at work, and said that they didn't have the colour stem that I wanted, and wanted to know if he should wait, then decided to just send the other colour stem so I can have it by the weekend. I get home friday, and my bar and stem are there, but no redbull. I called them on today (sunday) and left a message, dave called back while I was out, and said the redbull will be here tuesday.

Dave, and the rest of the bikeroom staff have officially won my heart. They are good people, and I will never think twice about ordering from there again.

maybe its just cuz i've seen on the other side of thigns that i dont really wanna buy anything from them. i may order something in the future if i see a good deal.

cam, I was thinking of you and the other threads on here when I hesitated on ordering, but then I figured that I didn't need the stuff right away, and if it took a month to get here, then that would be alright, if not, I'd just get IFO to get my goods :P

Anyone else have a mental picture of IFO as...well...

Remember "Dr. Octopuss" from Spiderman? How he could extend those arms things and use them like hands, and they had amazing strength?

I've always seen IFO as having a power-goatee like that. I can see him in the bikeroom shop throwing merchandise of all weights around effortlessly, making sure every customer gets what they need, all with his power-goatee.

i dont know why people say or said bad stuff about bikeroom/airbomb. i never had a problem with them and last time i put an order in, dave actually emailed me back about it and suggested different, stronger components for the same price...where else do you get that?

Well, my experience with that scenario has been, order Roach pads and then receive Nuke Proof. It may have the same perceived value, but isn't, really.

Never said you did. I ran out of time. I meant to add that you'd be doing it all for the 'karma' (I think this 'karma' energy may be what powers the power-goatee, as I've never seen any other recharging unit).

im ordering some nokian gazzas off bikeroom in a few days, once i get my allowance:) i live just outside edmonton,ab, how long would it usually take to ship here? and where is it shipping from?

Airbomb was good to me, but I went in there to pick my stuff up. I hate dealing with shipping stuff, especially when it's so close. It's kinda annoying that they'll only do shipping now, but if he's consistent, then I guess thats not so bad.

it took 3 or 4 days for my hfx-9 to get here (slave lake) so maybe a little less for you

If Red Bull containes caffine (sp?), in Canada caffine is only allowed in drinks like colas and root beers.

That is the reason that the Mountain Dew in Canada is different that that sold in the US.
