Brian Lopes styling the dirt jumps by the parking lot.

The guy is smoooooth and was having pics taken. He was in full on team gear. Nothing subtle about this guy. He had his name on his bike, rims, helmet, World Champion jersey, and shorts. I don't mind the style for the locals especially since he earned it but get this, he was looking like a total Fred cause he had his jersey tucked so far into his shorts he looked like his mom dressed him.

Damn fine rider though. Smaller than I thought.

That was AWESOME when Brian Lopes was at the jumps, I had such a good time riding the jumps with him. Went up to the skate park & jumps to goof around and noticed this really brightly dressed guy eyeing up the bigger lines at the DJ park, I rolled over to session with him and it ends up being Brian Lopes ?!

I cannot explain how pumped I was, Brian is one of my favorite all time mtb personalities, he is an amazing bike handler.

Haha...that was probably me... but "amazing rider"? Well, that kinda eliminates me. Either that or I do a good job of covering up my suckiness ;)

i guess my definition of amazing rider is based on the circumstantial evidence that my buddy said you passed us on a-line with no chain and i didn't even notice

at any rate, at the minimum you're a faster rider than i am and most of the people we saw that day
