i'm sorry i don't see the magic in pete. i do think he is an amazing rider and give him amazinnly big props for his work on upper oilcan however he seems to be just another grumpy old guy when it comes to attitude. At trail days all he does is walk around telling people what they r doing wrong and swearing. haha it is funny tho

Yup, he's old and grumpy. He always thinks he can do better than you. It pisses me off.

It's amazing the work he did on Upper Oilcan, that trail is awesome.

Like any other old or new trail builder I know...

Where would we be without them...

They ALL know what is best and you're never doing it right, which is their way. reminds me of my dad...

You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Take what you need and ignore the rest.

Peter is the nicest guy ever. I like that he passes along his knowledge, and we all need a good kick in the ass sometimes, and he has probably forgotten more about trail building then I will ever know. He helped me tune up my chainsaw, and sharpen the chain, and now it works better than ever.

Respect!

don't take it so personally if he critisizes your work... I mean look at upper oil can. how many of us could build a trail that smooth with as many fun stunts? it's a freakin work of art...

can't expect him to lower his standard on trail day or bite his tongue... anyways.

Check out the new log ride he's created on 7th. (not the one he did a couple of years back which exits onto the road)... About half way down 7th, there's a big ole fir, I'd say longer than the aforementioned so what's that.. 200 - 300 feet. I'm not good with distance. Anyway it's freakin' long and suspended over the canyon. He's chipped the top off with the adze, build an access and egress to create a gem of a log ride.

Old Pete rules.

He has earned respect. He's allowed to be a little grumpy.
