Made it out to the woodlot today for the first time and the place is sweet. Found Platinum by accident (we were looking for Gold) and that trail is sick!! I've taken a couple shots to the chest this season (bruised both sides of the ribcage in separate incidents), so I will admit I sucked up my pride and bypassed the gap jumps, but they look really well built and would be fun to hit.

I have a question for the Woodlot regulars ... is Platinum significantly more difficult a trail than the other more popular trails (ie. Gold, Shotgun, etc.)? I will be making the trek back out there for sure this season .... once I purchase a set of the Hoots body armour :D

Jeff from lifecycles..

Superchode - I guess I'd say it's harder than the other trails, but there's nothing TOO hard. It's all built super well so it's just a matter of having good judgement on the stuff and it should be cake.

Platinum is like nothing else at the woodlot, not that it's a bad thing. I rode it for the first time today also, and pretty much rode around everything. The other trails are more oriented around log riding, stunts not involving lots of airtime, and some technical downhilly stuff. It's all still amazing riding though, just a lot different.
