i don't think the rain will do anything. we were on fromme today and it's pretty dry under the trees even after the showers this afternoon. we need some serious hard rain, none of this drizzle crap...

The top half of the Empress re-route trail was still dusty and dry. Didn't rain hard enough.

It'd be pretty hard to ride the top part. With the really loose and dry soil, it's hard to work on.

Pissed rain on Seymour most of the day today (Sat). Hopefully the soil on Empress re-route got enough moisture to firm it up a bit so it is workable. Was wet on the trails higher up but...... I still saw a smokin chuck wagon shuttling riders up all day! Not cool - don't support riding and sliding! Funny how a business that relies on the quality of the trails doesn't really think twice about taking money so that riders can destroy the very trails that support the company. Hmmmm............. maybe a little education from the responsible riders in the MTB community is neccessary?
