It's new fork time!
I've gone browsing and narrowed my choices to these two forks. I like the manitou but am a bit leery about it being brand new and manitou and all. Jeff at cove doesnt liek them but I don't really like Jeff  So super T looks not bad, kinda same old same old of marz. I like the manitou but not sure about paying more for less travel?? anyone have any experience/educated opinions?

i have the 03 super, it is good ol marazocchi performnce, i like it a lot, very rigid and extreamly plush.

only grips are, tire clerance isnt good for over a 2.5 in tires, and if u ride in the mud a shit load or have a real bent wheel u need a even smaller tire, and the qr20pro thing is stupid, there is no point. it is aa great fork.

i have a sherman flick too, the sc sherman and have had no problems with it what soever, the travel is great and the adjustments work very well for me, also it is the rigidest single crown i have ever ridin.

i think the choice is yours, you will like either fork i am sure.

what kind or bike do you have?

if it is a hardtail i would go with the sherman cause i like a lower front end, if it is a real long travel fully i might go with the super cause it will feel a little more even.

slider.. the valving is awesome. you will like the manitou.
the slider may have less travel but it will feel like more and be more effective. the forks alot stiffer too.
my dorado feels absolutely bottomless in fact i dont think its bottomed once. the slider uses the same valving
oh plus the sliders black, so is your bike. the colors match

annoying super t's dont have as much tire clearance either

dont be set back by the Slider DC's less travel...

its more about the quality of teh travel...

the Sliders 6"s feels like more and better travel then Zokies 7"s super-T....

i kinda went through the same thing, now in the end i bought the 2002 super t and the only reason i did not buy the 20003 was because i was worried about the cryofit.
