Grimica System 9's

6'' mech. disk brakes, made my Grimica, any comments on them? Strapt for cash, and need a new disk... They are 25 dollars for the rear.(coems with bolts, caliper, rotor and all hardwear.)

Spend a few bucks and get a 185mm Avid Mech. Great brake, not a lot of cash either.

ummm normally im the biggest Grimeca fan...

but even Grimeca's website says those discs are entry level for 1st time riders....

i think u should spend a tad more and at least get into Shimano mechs or Hayes...

Avids are the best thou...

is that 25$US or cdn ???

I'd suggest you to go to www.mtbr.com and read up the reviews before you buy.

And if you decide to get mech disc brakes, definitely go for Avid mechs.

People have said that they're no different compared to some hydraulic disc brakes out there.

I'm a proud owner of the avid mech disc brakes, and they've given me plenty of power.

I'm sure any avid mech disc brake owners would agree with me.
