The sleeve of the skewer doesnt' go all the way accross i know theres still the two clamps that have to go into place but could this lead to any problem?

i dont think its meant to.. as long as it clamps down right.. it shouldnt be a issue..
i know mine doesnt touch when i tighten them up..
should it?:???:

its fine have no worries... jsut be sure to use the flaps thou...

qr20plus forks arent designed to run with out those...
