fromme ride friday

i am looking for someone to ride fromme with friday morning/afternoon. i want to ride gmg, as i havent been there in a while and the regulars i ride with are either out of town, or dont want to ride gmg.

I've heard GMG is incredibly technically difficult. Is it comparable to anything else in BC?

well it is hard, but it probably isnt as bad as you think
its steep. it has skinnies and skinnies, but no stunts as scary as the circus stuff
from a technical standpoint it is very oldschool, but i would say it compares to some of the cypress stuff
it is one of the hardest if not the most hard trails out there. not only is it hard, but it is also pretty long and far up the road. thats right you have to peddal quite a ways up
too add more danger, it is very very exposed, and if somebody were to get hurt, the trail is far away from civilization making it difficult to get off the mountain or to be rescued. could mean the night on the mountain

What an invitation. Its tempting, but it would take me so long to get up there. I also disslike the first part very much. But there are a few stunts that are rather attractive.

well it takes me an hour and 15 minutes to get up there usually.. but yeah i dont mind walking the whole way.
the first part is awesome.. if you can avoid hitting all those trees. i guess its a little different on a fs// ive done that trail once on an fs, all the other times were on a hardtail

I saw a couple pictures, and though I believe I could ride most of the stunts, and all the tech sections, the high logride freaks me out.

theres a few high log rides that freak me out..
pictures dont do justice, its not as easy as it looks
keep in mind that most of it is very exposed, so if you make a mistake, youre going to pay for it

hey guys, if you are planning on doing the trail again sometime on a weekend other than this one could ya maybe let me know? Ive never done the trail but others who have have told me to go check it out cause its right up my alley. Lots of skinnies and steep terrain is what I like. Any big hucks?
