Yes he was wearing a full face, in fact he was wearing a motocross helmet, and it was pretty ragged up afterwards too, Nathan Rennie was quoted saying he wish he hadn't seen the helmet after the crash.

Yah apperantly the jump was horrible like a really big kicker at the end of a straighter hill and the riders had lots of speed and lots of them had trouble with it. Get better john!!! I will send you my spare healing vibes (i gotta heal up too right now).
