hardtails and racing???

it can be done.

i race junior beginner at plattekill ski area in roxbury new york (USA) and i passed 2 people on my way down some guy not in my class possibly in a better one who started like a minute before me and then i passed my friend jim who rides a dually and would have won the last 2 races.(if he didnt get disqualified in one). and i beat 2cd place by 25 seconds. (if i raced sport i would have got 5th)

i have a cheeta ds hardtail with a dj2 up front with some special crown that marz put on when warrantied with 26 inch wheels 2.2 int he rear and a 2.5 up front. 6 in discs hayes hydro rear and avid mech front.

ok now to the point if you want to race dh and its your first year or you have a hard tail dont go buy a dually race with it for a year you'll become an awesoem rider and maybe get some podium finishes

o and plattekill is known for having soem of the most technicall downhill course around even the beg/sport courses are hard. the complaint of last race was beg/sport was harder than expert

its amarathon crown by the looks of it. its not the march it still has an m-arch but the crown is different. its the first year 2002 dj2 and they had the really creaky ones so they put a marathong crown on and it elmimanated the creaking

yeah i have to send in my fork for warranty it creaks horribly its a 2002 z1 wedge how were they about warranty for you? how long did it take? did you have to pay shipping?

Its funny right now in the wim series(washington idaho montana) Im in second in hardtail catagory behind a pro racer from Evil bikes. Hew like 20 somthing and im 14. Im beating all the men in the catagory.
