new steer tube?

hey, if you get a new steer tube pressed into your fork is it still as strong? cause the fork i wanna get's steer tube is too short but i really like the fork so i was wondering if its worth it. suggestions wanted;) ...

if you're talking about a marz, word on the street is that it can be safely done once in the crown's life. i had one done, and there were no ill effects.

just take it to any machine shop, or autobody place w/ a hydraulic press. should take them about 2 minutes, and bring a case of beer for 'em :)

You can do it. But again you need to send it to fork marzo or else it voids warranty. Unless your lbs does it though.
