fixing stancion scratches

today i was balencing a stupid little ledge a couple feet off the ground and i decided to manual it so when i pulled up my front wheel i was to late and it fell off the edge... my stancion scraped it and put a HUGE scratch/hole in it! how do i fill this in? i tried sandpapering it then filling it with old nailpolish and then re-sanding it again. this didnt seem to work to well, any other suggestions?

JB weld. Normally one would blast you for not searching the forums but seeing as they have disappeared into cyberspace...

Use JB weld then sand it down using some super fine wet/dry 1000+ grit.

thats why i made the thread, i remembered there being a few threads on this long time ago.....

I found just sanding them down worked and mine was a bad scratch and have never had a prob with it again.
