I am just wondering how you can tell if your flexes? I have a 2003 Mars dj 3 and i am pretty sure it flexes but how can you tell...:rolleyes:

Stand infront of your bike and put the front wheel between your legs. Twist the handle bars back and forth and watch the fork flex like a mofo.

ride it.
actually, if you pull some rigid-armed stiff-backed seated tight turns in some bumpy grass, and you can feel it.

If you ride a Shiver SC (Like me).....you can just tell....lol

you can tell it flexes when it doesnt snap. if wa fork were 100% rigid and had no give it would snap the first time you cased a jump!!

Of course this isn't quite what the fork experiences in the REAL WORLD.

You can see it flex back and forth too by just holding the front brake and rocking. On my z1 u can see the arch go forward pretty far.

on my 2001 supers it feel like the lowers are clankin around back and forth when im cruising in bumps, its pretty scary since i keep thinkin its gonna bust off a drop:eek:

cornering hard over studder bumps is when i feel the flex the most.

just watch your fork while you ride and you'll see it move alot

If the stanctions snap you "flexed" it too much.
