Bah... everytime i hit up my dirtjumps i always eat shit pretty bad. usually it seems like my fork breaks because i get thrown forward or my bike gives out under me. i always seem to end up on my ass or something... everyone else can do the jumps easy but i always wipe out... does this seem to happen to anyone else?

You just gotta stop pushing yourself so hard. Ihave the same problem whenever I get infront of a camera I start falling all the time and not riding normal. Start small and keep practicing, pretty soon you'll be right up there with your friends, probabbly even better if you keep practicing and pursuing it. Dont let these kinds of things get you down because if your falling lots, that tells you that your improving, if you never fall your never improving. Learn from your mistakes and you will become a better rider.

I'm the same way but I'm determined to learn the ways of dirt jumps this summer. I'm just gonna bring all my armor at first. I keep realizing that every bail I've had on a dirt jump would not have hurt, if I was riding with armor.

Man I was at South Surrey bike park the other day where that bike fest is going to be held and what did I see?

Young kid riding a Iron Horse from Sport Chek school'in the dj's. Damn impressive and humbling my crappy dj'ing skills.

just go ride the jumps by your self, sometimes its better ot get away from all the pressure your friends give you

Jus practise on tables..learn the jumps..learn how to control yourself before you start hucking yourself...

I think i was stupid and jus went for the 7 because I made it that far..nose case ended up breaking a wrist.

Practise those tables, like bmx type "kickers". Suck up the jump.

I had the same problem before when I first started DJing. What I do was I pull up first just like a J-hop, then I lower the front my bending my legs as if I am riding downhill, that way you straighten your arm and therefore makes your front end drop. It works for me that's all I know.
