Dirt Jump Jam at Surrey Bike Festival

This is just a notice to all experienced and qualified Dirt Jumpers out there who might have this Saturday (July 5) free.

I am hosting a Dirt Jump Jam at our jump park this weekend to go along with the Bike Festival which will be happening. The event will be held in a Jam format as it helps to aleviate insurance costs, this means the $20 registration fee will get you a student membership to our club(this takes care of insurance), a t-shirt, BBQ lunch, and swag from the sponsors of the event. Helmets will be mandatory and safety gear is suggested. We are only going to allow 30 riders to take part as this will keep everybody jumping at a half decent pace and the jumps won't feel over crowded.

The park is a little rough around the edges but we have a fun facility right now. We have our JUNKYARD crew kickin ass over here on a regular basis and if everthing goes well with this jam the city will be willing to let me organize another event before the end of summer, hopefully with live rock tunes, BBQ and so on.

So if you are interested please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to reply quick. I am going to be busy with working on the jumps this week so if anybody wants to come down and see what is going on just stop on by.

I will post the direction to the location of the park tonight after I get home from doing work at the park.

Ok the location is right near Softball City, if you are using a map that is a great way to locate the athletic park we are situated in. For more event information check out the SORCE website at www.sorcebikeclub.org. This site is the clubs main info point, on it you will find the location of the bike park and a list of activities for the day.

Its a really fun jump park. It starts with a good roll in, to a 4 set, that has 4 different sizes. The jumps are great to progress on, and people can boost pretty damn big off of em. ex- 3rd pic.
JUST GO TO THE JUMP COMP!! SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE AND HAVE A GOOD TIME !!

Hell Yeah, jumps are cleaned up, still a little rough, but oh damn they are fun, cannot wait for the session with Gareth tomorrow.
