Well, it's obvious really. The world is a globe. Think of a globe spinning. a point on the equator of the globe would be travelling FASTER than a point that is closer to the top (pole). Since we all know that the globe turning makes day and night, and that the USA is closer to the equator than canada (we actually touch the north pole) - it only makes sense that for an american, a 'day' goes FASTER than a day in canada. Faster Spin = faster day

Easy.

Easy to verify also - If you live in southern USA, just call a Canadian when you just reach dusk - you'll find that in Canada, there's loads of light left - in fact so much so in some places that way way north, the sun appears to not even set.

Cool, eh?

on the topic of americans. today at work (in vancouver) this couple walk in and ask for two adult admissions. I give them their price and they ask what that is in Canadian dollars. So I tell them that is the price and Canadian. They were surprised to discouver that we canadians also use the $ symbol for our currency.

later on in the day I had to tell the same couple, the lions gate bridge would not take them to vancouver island in twenty minutes for there six o-clock booking at the Empress

really people should do just a little reasch before travelling to a forigen country.

Morning and Evening, and sometimes afternoon. Remember it's not just Canadians on this board, if you post a gear thread you'll see me in there loads.

I usually manage to fit in 2-7 hours riding a day too :D

My friends hate my bike :)

another vaild point.

good thing i have a pen here i am taking notes.

this will go right above the usa being closer to the equator therefore the days go quicker

looks like i have been going about this all wrong :stupid:

guess i should start looking for a job and a house over in canada.

extra hours in the day means more time to sit around and do nothing.:thepimp:
