First of all:
3 notsogreat riders + 1 day and night of rain + second ever shore ride + riding pure bmx for a week instead of my HT = owned by shore.

Now, we ran into a guy halfway down corkscrew, riding an RM6 /w Monsters who said this was his first ride in six months because he broke his back. You could see the big brace he was wearing under his shirt. Looked serious... He was also completely smoking the trails (I mean, I guess we rode fairly 'tame' trails on that run [not for us!] Corkscrew to Pingu to Pangor, but he hit everything super smooth, and was amazingly fast). We ran into a few guys who seemed to recognize him and one said that "he was really going to be big in the future".

We finished out that run and gave him a ride up (but not before we took a wrong trail and ended up on the teebox of the golfcourse, making the two guys waiting to tee off make the strangest faces  ).

We realized afterward that perhaps this should be someone we should know? He said he lived just outside Salem.

I figure someone with a broken back must be riding a level to be fairly well known? :???:

I made this so you'd stop pestering me on MSN about it.
