Whistler was so much fun today, was there with bunny and lady g, Rhode with zedbra and barry to.

I had alot of fun on the tech trails today such as joyride and clown shoes, i have neglected them in my previous days but they are so much fun!! I also was able to flow really well today to, just felt so fun. Also was able to hit the big wallride that had been freakin me out for the longest time to.

The drop-in crew was up there today and dylan and this other trials guy i think his name is john jespersen were doin 180 onto the box to fakie roll to 180's out, pretty friggin sick. I got a chance to follow steve romaniuk down a-line while he was gettin helmet cammed and he was goin off like mad, the kids got so much skill.

All in all really fun day, and i cant wait to get back up on sunday and have even more fun.

ride on

It was cool riding with you all. Adam was stylin! Kickouts to tree taps = made to look like it was meant to be. I also did some rides with Scooby - that was cool. Good weather, hardly any people, and met some new people. I'm smiling.

:D

yup, makes me focus and ride faster and better. less hesitation and i am able to just go with my instincts instead of thinking too much.

i don't know if it is the best part of the ride, but it is definately up there...

I am not sure why you all think safety meetings are fun. Safety is a very serious matter. I have actually been working on a lightweight fiberglass/teflon bubble suit for downhill riders to wear. True, we won't be able to go fast, or down steep hills, or jump, or anything like that, but we will be safe. Please everyone, let's not take this lightly, and ride safely until the suits are ready. Maybe we should just stop riding downhill altogether. :P

safety is fundamental IMO

That guy lives a few streets down from me now, awesome rider, cool guy.

If you see him again, ask him about the day Ryan beat him im a manualing contest ;) then run like hell!

yea, saftey meetings always hit the spot. But question.... Why is it that when someone passes on it and says "I can't, it messes with my balance/intensity/groove" why is it me that always gets a little shaky for the next 10 mins until I regain "the funk".

it affects different people differently. if they don't want it, or it does not work for them, that's fine. if it works for you, that is also fine. you just have to know what puts you in the right frame of mind...and its not the same thing for everyone.

works for me though.

I'm not sure if I have a 'right frame of mind'. Please explain. Use small words so that I can keep up to the bouncing ball.

I had to read that to the tune of "Talking about my Generation", and then it made sense.:D

I got just an arsenal of rides comin up. Sunday - Whistler. Monday - Whistler with wife (B Line can be cool, I think). Tues-day Seymour with da boyz....

You wanna lay some smack talk down? huh?

I'm gonna be having da smoothest tea party, waiting for you, that when you come sucking wind down the trail after me, I'm gonna knock your old, listless ass onto the ground, spike you like the good lord, and use your 200 lbs body as a ladder to flat drop. Old school - a worthy ending to your eternal love of Pangor.
