i want that headset :drool:
but i think that indicator window is ridiculous, it just gonna end up getting smashed like the indicator windows on shimano sihfters :(

all 3 look good, im still not a fan of the xt's though,

im definartly looking at a new headset for my new big bike and my little bike and the steelset is at the top of list, just gotta find out if it will fit ...

While it is possible that this indicator window could get broken in a freak accident - it is way more durable and placed in a less vulnerable position and it is bordered with aluminum. Also it is protected by the bar instead of being on the leading edge.

I got a chance to ride one of those triggers for a day on Cory's bike for BITs2, it takes a lil getting used to cause everything is wiht ur thumb and not ur index finger, but its awesome if I had a choice i would go grip shift.
if u have the shifter too close to the grips the big knobby lever on the shifter rubs on ur thum when thers bumps and when ever ur thumb moves
