View Full Version : Pay Parking on Seymour
Well, the pay parking is in...at least it was up at the CBC lot yesterday.
Pretty much your only option is to pay $5.00...no way around it if you want to park, unless you want to risk a ticket.
Here's what we did, and what I suggest: if you purchase a ticket, leave it in the machine dispenser after your ride for somebody else coming up. This way, we all won't have to pay every time. Sometimes you'll have to buy, but sometimes you'll be lucky enough to get a freebie that someone is finished using.
Let's help each other out a little.

We were chatting with one of the rangers on saturday. The pay parking will apply to ALL provincial parks, and is part of the user pay fee structure put in place by the new prov. gov't. For $50, you can get a season's parking pass that allows you to park in all provincial parks - not too bad when you weigh it against having to pay way more than 10 times per year to ride seymour.
The road across from the Old Buck parking lot is pay parking, too - they're only issuing warnings right now because there isn't good signage yet indicating you have to pay to park there - might as well park in the lot if you're going to park there.

Mua ah ah.
That would indeed solve a LOT of the current problems. Too bad it's a fast food mentality these days when it comes to riding.
I've done my share of years and years of riding up hills, and would be perfectly happy to kick your ass riding up that hill too. I've put in my time. I'm not some lazy kid who has nothing but time on his hands and is trying to bum a ride up. I shuttle because I'm busy with work and have two young kids at home who like to spend time with their dad. For me, riding up for 45 minutes or an hour or whatever is a waste of valuable time. Ride up all you like, Sunshine.
Basically, I made a suggestion here to help out others. You and Zedbra can be condescending all you like (don't get it, but whatever...you ladies have issues), but why don't you save it for another issue, not something that is mutually beneficial to us all.
Cunt.

I originally decided to post that as a suggestion, but tell you what...since the NSMB community thinks it's a bunk suggestion, I'll do what I do with all my other parking receipts: keep it for a tax write-off. Fuck off to you too.
I call it as I see it. The guy is being a cunt.

i don't think anyone though it was bunk..it's just that it was mentioned already. it's common bb courtesy to search for the topic before you post, as far as I know.
Fucking off.

His done his years and years of being ignorant - now he's got no time to ride, but all the time in the world to be a whiner.
I did a search - took 10 seconds - came up with 22 results with "Parking" in the title - 4 of them titled parking on seymour.
What us useless cunts have already read are all of these:

I suck at riddles, but live life as a cliche.
I'm just searching for a little direction from Dude, da man.

This is ridiculous guys. No need for this kind of arguing, nobody wants to read this.
The guy had a suggestion. He didn't do a search, and I am sure all of you have failed to do a search too at some point. Judging somebody for that is pretty uncalled for.
Ride more, bitch less. :)
