Seems like a select "few" have decided no to ride this weekend..What's your excuse?
Well, my bike is in pieces and still have to wait another couple of weeks for parts!! :( I tell ya...it brings a tear to my eye seeing a dirty bike strapped to a car coming back from an outing

hahah...looks like we (mtn bikers) are making a mockery of the health care system. Seems like a lot of people are "gimped" for a while. I guess I got it pretty good, considering all my limbs are intact and in good working order. :D

I ride all the time... dh, xc, road. When I'm bummed out about crashing at a race (cough*Bear*cough), I go out for some anger management xc/road rides to help with the rage. Time off the dh bike, I find, helps with your riding and interest level.

Better do it now since free time might soon be a thing of the past for you;)

Andrew, it took about 5 months before my shoulder felt normal after dislocating it last fall. The only good thing I can say is that it now feels very strong. That's probably because it healed properly, and probably because I did some physio/exercise on it. Joint injuries take a long time to heal.

Don't be adverse to riding if it still aggravates you. I would ride with pain, but in time the pain went away and my shoulder became stronger.
