So ill be up there this upcoming weekend and i see its going to be a rainy weekend. monday is our day at whistler and i just wanted to know if they have the bike park open when its raining; do they limit operations; etc ???

ive never been there for anything but for tracking fresh powder, so i dont know how they operate for summer stuff...

well thats all good and dandy, but when you live say...6 hours away and you dont get many 3 day weekends...you cant be a choosy kinda rider...

i ride when i can, and this upcoming weekend is one of them 3 day weekends...

ehhh, if i cant ride whistler monday, ill have to trek down to squamish or something...no biggie :)

I've never ridden a-line when it was wet but isn't it slippery from the mud?

i rode it in the rain/hail before, i recommand you not to, you get wet, cold, hungry and wanna pee, it's miserable. my friend went off a lil cliff too cuz it was slippery.

yeha if it rains pretty hard expect the good trails to close....

that suks, but it does help avoid damaging the trails amd causing more work for teh trail workers...

dam weather anyways.... Whistler needs to buy a weather making machine for the summit...:D

dome the entire town.
come winter time, make every day a fresh sunny powder day..
come summer, every day is a semi-warm sunny day

now that would be nice :)

A line is usually closed when it rains. I just got home from Whistler - and it had just started to rain. I will call there tomorrow, and let you know what there rain policy is. My offer for a Squamish ride is still open. I'll go to Whis, too. Got my seasons pass today.

hey zed - id rather a squamish ride :)

i hate skiing in the rain, and to keep with the tradition, i wont bike at a ski resort in the rain

monday will be squamish...youll just have to get me dirs as to where to meet up with ya and whoever else is going to ride...

keep in mind; no mind numbing climbs - i have no gears :)
