View Full Version : Stacked it in Biker X today...out for 10 days.

Well, after having an awesome weekend with no crashes, I stacked it in the Biker X today pretty hard ( I blame Rossco for asking me if I had bailed, thus dooming me to a bail). I overshot a table and my front end washed out. Went over the bars and wadded it up like a sack of ass.
End result. Armour did most of it's work. I might have to crash replace my TLD D2, as it took the brunt of it and looks pretty beat. I bent the crap and tore my seat.
I took a pretty good laceration on my knee (Hoots knee pads descided to get out of the way of the crash). The laceration required 4 stitches and a Bunch of scrubbing out. I have Whistler rash on my elbow and shoulder and a bit on my hip. I can;t imagine what it would have been like without all my armour. It definitly did it's job.
Thanks to Corey for stopping and making sure I wasn't retarded (Although I do remember him saying to Charlie that I was a bit wierd and that it might be hard to tell if I was acting strange later on... ). An dof course thanks to Charlie for stopping by and making sure I was altogether there.
I feel a little beat up, but not so bad considering.
Awesome weekend non the less.
I'll try to get a picture up when I change the dressing...
ouch, i think it was 100% rosscos fault. it seems like lots of people are crashing at whistler so far :(

Sorry to hear that man. Sucks Jay. Speedy recovery and get back on the V10 and ride like the devil. My question of the day is what is a wadded up sack of ass, and how does it go over the bars.
Get better you young fart.
:hurt:
Jay, it's Alex. that sucks but count your blessings that it was nothing worse. I'm almost positive I know the table you ate it on. I've seen a million people get their ass whipped up on that one and nose the landing.
On my last run yesterday I was millimeters away from doing exactly the same thing. I landed all nose, bottomed out my boxxer and rode that front wheel for long enough to think clear thoughts about how ugly my TLD was going to look when I cleared the dust off.
Sounds like we were just on opposite sides of that fine line of disaster. Keep that wound clean and you'll be blasting again in no time. I agree that it was a killer weekend. Those were some of the best days I had compared to all of last season.
I'll have to hook up with you guys again next time I'm up. I had so little time to ride this weekend (work and woman) that I just had to blast as many runs as possible while I was there.
Take it easy bra!

Stitches in the knees is the worst! I had 6 back in augest and it was pretty painful after they stuck 25 needles in my knee to freeze it, pretty painful but I lived. We should ride some time when I get my biek back jay, it'd be fun. :)

That's not that bad... painful, and limits your movement I bet though, mighty annoying. How long till the stitches come out?
Heal up soon.
