A-line is in great shape, no mud.

Schleyer is in fine working order.

Dirt merchant is a mudfest.

Upper Joyride is in great shape, Lower Joyride is okay, but hard work (worth it, imo) the double drop near the end just about got me.

thanx cho dogger......

wel im in some serious pain this morning. after i got taken away in the red and white box i went to the hospital. they did a whole neck spine thing that really hurt. they said i had a pretty bad concussion. then i went for a shower to clean up the road rash. i was supposed to get as much of the grit out as possible. i got a bit but not enough. so i went for 3 x-rays, they did chest, hip and shoulder.
i didn't break anything but they said it didn't matter. i bruised everything so badly its gonna feel like i might as well have boken somthing. and trust me. IT DOES. feels like i got hit by a car.

then i had to go for cleaning. they had to clean the wounds. i got a good 6cm x 6cm patch of no skin on my right side that was filled with gravel. the bi@tch nurse took a scrubbing brush and then went at it. killed. brad was out in the hallway for the lat half he said it was pretty funny to hear. felt like i wanted to die. imagine steel wool on your sides rubeed REALLY REALLY HARD!!!. thats what i had done.

got cleaned up and kicked out......

feeling like crap this morning evrythign hurts.

thanx to everyone that helped me out. charlie with the bike patrol, cho dogger, brad for the ride home, mulletron, i think i saw adam while i was lying there and a few others but i as pretty messed up so i dunno.

i got OWN3D

well if ur on the comp tonight im sure youre good to go soon. you didnt sound too good up there but we is glad ur ok. and oh man ive had them scrub my wounds out at the hospital too. it is the most painful thing to do ever. just seeing some lady scrub your bleeding wound with a hard brush makes you scream like a baby.

on the other hand, yesterday owned. except for the people that stand at the entrances to trails thats not too cool. i talked to too many people so i dunno who you are. i was an annoying kid with a blue t shirt probably riding with no hands most of the time

I remember having to do that to myself :(. After the first time getting gravel in my arm and having to go to a clinic to get it dug out with a needle, I learned my lesson. Big stiff-brissled scrub brush rubbing hard. It goes kinda numb after a while...like it still hurts, but you don't notice it as much or something?

That's actually standard first aid procedure any time there's a suspected head injury. Yeah, scary to think about, but what they teach is that the first aider has to assume there's a spinal injury and do the complete check to rule it out before moving the patient.

well time to mend.

So, was that you just a little after the A-line rock drop? Like maybe 50m after, where the trail heads right back into the trees?

I came smoking down the rock and around the corner so fast that I almost couldn't stop where they'd put the bike across the trail! I think the guy watching the trail was pissed at me, but hey, I couldn't see the bike till I was around the corner! I stopped in time.

Anyhoo, good to hear no major injury. Skin grows back.

like any groups, there are few selfish pricks, but most ppl i met yesterday are real nice.

but while in the lineup, some guy was complaining about them newbielizing some of the drops and making it bad for the more advanced ppl, which i dont have a problem with. but then he goes on to say "how could anyone crash on an 8 or 9footer, i would understand someone crashing on an 18 footer, but if you crash an 8 footer, you shouldnt be riding a bike"

I am back from 3 days of Whistler good times.

To clarify:

1) I DID in fact get Own3d by Adam on A Line. That kid is fast like hell on that trail, and I couldn't keep up to the bastard!

2) Judy, I thought it was you..I was trying to make some eye contact to say hi, but was unsuccessful. I noticed the hair cut, and was 99% sure it was you, but I didn't get any signs that ya saw me, so I guessed maybe the 1% chace it wasn't you was right and I would have felt like a tool calling a stranger Judy :-).

3) Arnold did stack hard. I told him I was going to ban him for it...I'll go into his account now and take care of it. :D

4)Wilkez, you are the lifeguard guy right? I talked to you a bit.

And, there were severla IFO sightings...the guy keeps moving though so I never get to chat!

That was a great weekend! Sun, lots of good trails and good times. Can't wait to go back!

front tire slid out on the last berm on aline, went down and got my hand stuck between the brake lever and the bars - busted blood vessel in my left hand above my middle knuckle and broke my index finger knuckle. Now I gotta make an apt with a plastic surgeon later on this week and will be out for a little while.

I dunno - will have to talk to some doctor at st pauls tomorow and make an apt for later in the week, when the swelling is down. the blodd vessel was freaky cuz it grew to the size of a golf right in front of our eyes. Jack and Brett were tripping out on it on our way to the clinic.

I saw biking fiend up there, in the chairlift lineup I asked him if his name was trever. I also saw judy, but didn't have enough time to say hi.

it was a good time, got extremely muddy on dirt merchant, and bent my rear rotor somehow, but it's really bad. my friend snapped his vanilla rc spring in half on aline. Completely in half, has anyone ever heard of that happening?

Nah, I dislocated my shoulder snowboarding at easter and the healing has been slow to say the least. I did some damage to the axillary nerve so I can't feel or move my deltoid, and the area of anesthesia is spreading.

I'm not even allowed to ride my road bike yet!
