greyhound and bikes

it says you can bring your bike on the greyhond bused but does ti ahv eto be disasembled has anyone done this I want to go to whislter and wondering if I can bring it by jsut takignthe wheels off.

I was just told my someone that used this servie before you don't need a bike box jsut put it underneather with the wheels on I will call tomorrow but I don't se why i can't jsut put it underneath.

I've used the bike box and saved $10.you can have it uncontained and slide it in the designated luggage section for $10.they might even charge for bike box now. the best way is to have a huge dufflebag,I use my goalie gear bag, and then it is definitley free as luggage.P.S. I did the bike box thing last june.
