Big Bear California?

i live in cali and am thinking of going riding up at big bear...but i dont know if it worth it...has anyone ever been there...anyone heard any good or bad thing about it

I almost took a job down there and was gonna buy a house in Big Bear. I scouted around at the trail resources and my hungry little eyes grew about as big as pie plates...

Mmmm, so I've yet to ride that side of the hills but I do spend a fair amount of time in the Idyllwild/Palm Springs/Garner Valley doing the big climbs and descents. You'd be a foo! not to go up there man, it's riddled with trails everywhere.
