What is your point if Thor comes here? Do you expect to be put in the movie? Usually only sponsored riders and other actual pros make it into the movie.
wrong! he's holding a open shoot for local riders to ride with him . doesn't mean you'll make it, but he will take some footage from the vic rides. there's a press release about it.

This year, I am trying something new. I am posting the dates and locations of my production schedule and extending an open invitation to talented local riders to participate in the shoots. I have never done this before, and I don’t know how it will turn out, but I figure I will never know unless I give it a try.
As the freeride and urban aspects of our sport progress, it is important that the new generation of talented riders have an opportunity to be exposed to a wider fan base and also to potential sponsors. Video parts are an effective way to accomplish this. By posting my production schedule, and extending this invitation, I hope to open new opportunities for up and coming riders. I can’t promise that everyone’s footage will make the final cut, but I do promise that I will shoot with anyone who is confident in their riding abilities and makes the effort to show up. If you are interested, you can email me at thorwixom@invictusproductions.com . Serious inquiries only, please.
I will also need help with locations this year. If you know the prime riding spots in the locations that I have posted below and you are willing to help, please contact me at the email address above. Again, serious inquiries only, please.
As you read the schedule, you will notice that I am planning to produce three mountain bike videos this year, Plush 2, Jib 2 and Rush. Since Plush 2 is a race oriented video the opportunities for up and coming riders will be limited. However, the doors are wide open for Jib 2 and Rush.
Plush 2 - It has been almost 7 years since Plush was released and I believe it is time to revisit the scene that helped launch my career. Plush 2 will include footage from the North American UCI races, NORBA races, and the World Championships in Kaprun, Austria. My plan is to show a teaser of Plush 2 at Interbike and release it Thanksgiving weekend, in time for Christmas 2003. Plush 2 will be distributed by Fox Racing.
Jib 2 - The dirt jumping, urban, and park scenes have grown amazingly this year. Riders are pushing the boundaries of what can be done on 26-inch bikes, and I can’t wait to witness and document the growth again this year. So far, the confirmed riders for Jib 2 are Von Williams, Chris Duncan, Russ Morrell, John Jesme, Chris Stewart, Doug Fink, Chris Donahue, Danny Swan, Brett Luelling, and Mikey Mayhem. Look for further updates on additional riders. I will also be collaborating on the soundtrack with a top hip-hop DJ. When negotiations are finalized, I will reveal the details and identity of the DJ in a separate press release. Jib 2 will be released at Interbike and will be distributed by VAS Entertainment and Lizard Skins.
Rush - The focus of Rush will be mainly freeriding and dirt jumping. I have huge plans for Rush, including the most extensive A-list of riders that I have ever worked with on a single video. I plan to show a teaser for Rush at the world premiere of Jib 2. The final release and world premiere for Rush will be at the Sea Otter Classic in April 2004. Rush will be distributed by VAS Entertainment and Lizard Skins. Look for more details in future press releases.
It is going to be an amazing year. I’m looking forward to hanging out with old friends and meeting new friends along the way.
Below is the shooting schedule for Invictus Productions from May 16th until Interbike 2003. Specific information will be posted as the dates for each location draw near.

Count Blah,
I ran across your post, and felt it would be appropriate to respond.
This year I will definitely be filming with locals.
I do not expect everyone I shoot with to be at the pro level in order to get into the video.
Naturally, the most talented locals have the best odds of making it into the main body of the film.
However, the up and comers still have a chance to make the bonus sections of the DVD that will be reserved for footage of local riders.
Even though I am limited to time and space on the DVD for the main body of the film (approx. 40 mins), I am going to try to include as much footage of as many locals as possible. I will even be using a larger capacity DVD in order to include more footage of locals in the bonus sections.
Count Blah, everyone is invited (including you) to come out and participate.
