You relise there is a no travel advisory in toronto b/c SARS?

It can be 20 above to minus 10 in Sept. then as cold at -30 in DEC. (worst case)

Canada is BIG...there's a tonne of ground to cover if you plan on travelling.

If you'll be in Toronto, and like urban/street...definitely bring your bike. There's a tonne there.

How will you be travelling in Canada? The thing you'll have to remember is that you'll probably have to box your bike if you're going to be riding a bus/train/plane to go from place to place. If your relatives are your age, interested in travelling too...take their car!

If I went pretty much ANYWHERE for 3 months I'd bring my bike. Unless it was going to be snowed in the whole 3 mos.

There's some decent riding in the Toronto area, most of the trails are XCish though. You'll find some good urb around. If you think you'll be heading to Vancouver (ie. the shore), don't forget it's 4 solid days of driving (about 12 hrs a day) to get here from T.O., or a 4 1/2 hour flight. It's a big country, dude.

Have fun,

Kn.

4 Days from toronto, even at 12 hours to the shore sounds kinda fast to me. I takes 2 days from SK, and 2.5 to Toronto.
