i'm planning on going camping on seymor mtn somewhere with a group of guys august long weekend, and i was wondering what trails are up there. i know cbc and neds are up there. but what else is up there thats good to ride, thats smooth and not huge? although i can always ride around it of course. and is the road that u use to access the mountain go past a graveyard, on the way up, before a gate(or the gate)? cause theres an old scouts property up there somewhere past the gate, and that where were going. i just wanna make sure i dont have to ride back down a ways and then ride back up some other road, cause that would really suck.
thanx a lot for your answers and input

K the scouts camp is in a totally different are than seymour mountain (though it is in the seymour demonstration forest). Yes it is up and past a graveyard and yes you will have to go down along mount seymour parkway and then all the way up the road, i suggest that you find another place to stay (unless you like long road rides) or get a car to drive you to the mountain.

The scout group I'm a leader with has a cabin on Seymour - just above CBC. (Down, into the forest from the parking lot above CBC). I can have it for free, just about anyweekend in the summer, cause the scouting season is fall through spring.
I plan on a couple of weekend stays there this summer ! :D

yes i know cbc is closed, thx for reminding everyone that already knows, but by sunny and dry august it should be open again.
well yeah i guess that would make for a long ride, i guess i should find if anyone else is up forriding some trails and get them to drive both of us out there:D

2 guys or me and 10 babes.
Actually, it's just been overhauled inside for more sleeping room. Before the overhaul, we commonly accomodated 8 kids and three adults.

When the scouting season is over, I'll see about booking the cabin and maybe setting something up.
I'll have to give it some thought though - I don't really know any of you guys.

yeah you never know everyone, and have to pick and choose even though its unfair and not the 'scouting' way...but thats a primo spot for an overnight cabin, especially even just for you and a few buds
