Looking for info on the Kettle valley rails to trails. planning on doing a bob trail trip this summer on all or part of this trail. Has anyone done this trip? When would be a good month to do it?
we are coming from SoCal.

Yup, I did it 2 summers ago. It was good fun. We did the 192km trip from Rock Creek to Princeton. We had a few too many littler guys with us (I did it with scouts) and they couldn't really pedal too well. It took us 5 days of cycling I think.

Good trip, nice and scenic, no intense uphill or anything, but we got bored with the "downhill" section (2% grade) so we took a 40 minute logging road to use up our vertical before heading along to princeton.

That section could be done by any competent cyclist in 3 days, but would be most enjoyed doing it in 4 days. We did it in July (Hot.)

Where is rock creek? What about starting in Midway and doing a loop through penticton, osoyoos and the road back to Midway.
We will only have one car, so the shuttle thing is out.

Midway.. thats the strating point, right? Rock Creek is 14km or something past there, but it looked to be all highway riding, so we started in Rock Creek instead.

Originally we planned to do the whole trip to Hope (I think.. Or maybe Penticton) but the kids we had were really tired and yea...

Very beautiful trip, I'd recommend it.
