if you're only doing one race, i believe you can get a day licence, but otherwise it's probably worth your while to get a licence.

If you only plan on a race or two, I would not pony up the $100 some odd bucks for one.

If you are doing a few, just go citizen and get a day license, it will end up being cheaper. If you are doing over 3, then a license is the way to go.

remember if you do 2 races, and then you decide to get a full liscence you cant keep those points you earned before the liscence
